‘Chump change’: F1 giants ‘worried’ about US outfit’s $1bn plan to join grid by 2024 SUPERCARS BATHURST 1000 – Pictured is Co-Owner of the Walkinshaw Andretti United Racing Team Michael Andretti at Mount Panorama today for the Bathurst 1000. Picture: Tim Hunter.

F1 powerhouses are “worried” about the potential power of an American team’s entry into the field, which could come as soon as 2024.

F1 broadcaster Will Buxton believes the sport’s giants are “worried” about the potential power of an Andretti Autosport entry into the field, which could come as soon as 2024.

Michael Andretti, the son of 1978 F1 champion and legendary driver Mario, is plotting an entry into Formula 1 after failing in his bid to buy the American Haas team.

Andretti Global would become the 11th team on the grid with IndyCar star Colton Herta likely to make the jump to F1 if the plan comes together. Renault is the leading option for an engine partner, with Mario claiming a deal has been secured already.

Andretti told Motorsport.com he needs an answer within a month in order to get the team up and running for the 2024 season.

“To me it’s a no-brainer. I don’t know what the holdup is, so hopefully they figure it out,” Andretti said.

“The way we’re going to do it is going to be first class all the way. We’ve got big plans that will really be good for Formula 1.

“My backers are great, they’re in it to be competitive, they’re not just in it to say they’re in Formula 1. They’re sports guys, they’ve turned sports franchises around from where they weren’t competitive to then being competitive, so they know how to do this stuff.”

He added: “Eventually we’d like to build it (the car) here.

“The first car would have to be farmed out, sort of like the way Haas does it now. And then eventually build our own car.

“My dream is to do it here, to have a true American car. We’d still have a big presence in the UK, but have the actual building of it here.”

But the global reach and strong backing of the team, which includes cars in IndyCar, Indy Lights, Indy Pro 2000, Formula E and a large stake in Supercars team Walkinshaw Andretti United – which won the Bathurst 1000 last year – has “the establishment” worried according to Will Buxton.

“Speaking to a lot of folks in the IndyCar paddock this weekend. The Andretti F1 project is serious. Very serious,” he tweeted.

“They could pay the ($200 million) entry fee as chump change. And in a non budget capped era have funding to make the top 3 wince. No wonder the establishment are worried.”

Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff has suggested the true cost of creating an F1 team would be close to $1 billion.

“We feel like we’re going to bring a lot more to the party in terms of income to the bottom line,” Andretti said in response.

“I believe what we could do for the US, it’s still very untapped and I think there’s a lot to be gained here.

“And I think having a true American team and driver, not a Russian driver, we can at least bring more than $100m to the bottom line, which is all we’d ever take out of the prize money.”

Under F1 rules 26 cars (and thus 13 teams) can be allowed on the grid.

F1 has had 10 teams since the mid-2010s, with the introduction of Haas compensating for the withdrawal of Manor (previously Marussia and Virgin), Caterham (previously Lotus) and HRT, with whom there was a 12-team grid through the early 2010s.

While those three outfits were backmarkers during their stints in the sport, they gave opportunities to future race-winners Daniel Ricciardo and Esteban Ocon, among others.

Andretti said his team would be committed to building a pathway for American drivers to reach F1, which is surging in popularity in the US due to Netflix’s Drive to Survive.

Tiger Woods may be the best golfer of all time but his longtime caddie has revealed a fact about him that will surprise many golf fans.

Tiger Woods may be the richest golfer ever to play the game but he didn’t care one bit about how much prize money he won at tournaments.

That surprising fact has been unearthed by his former caddie Steve Williams, who was on the bag for 13 of Woods’ 15 major victories.

Watch LIVE coverage from The USPGA Tour with Fox Sports on Kayo. New to Kayo? Start Your Free Trial >

Speaking on the Chasing Majors podcast with golf writer Evin Priest, Williams revealed what Woods did, or didn’t do, at the conclusion of a tournament, set him apart from every other golfer on the tour.

“One of the things I admire most about Tiger — I admired a lot of things about him — but one thing I absolutely admired about Tiger is that at the completion of a tournament you’d go into the scorer’s hut and you sign your scorecard and you hand it in,” Williams said.

“They always have a sheet with the prize money allocation for everybody so you can look up on the screen to see how you finished and look down and see how much you won.

“Tiger never, ever once took a look at that. He played to win trophies and create records, not for prize money.”

Williams described Woods as an ultra-competitive beast who was hellbent on breaking American legend Jack Nicklaus’ longstanding record of 18 major wins. He is currently three short of that mark.

“He’s the only player I’ve ever caddied for, the only player I’ve ever seen who never, ever looked at that sheet,” the New Zealander said.

“OK, you could argue he didn’t need to look at that sheet, but every player looks at that sheet, and he never did.”

Williams was also impressed that Woods never inquired about the prize pool when he was invited to play at a tournament overseas.

“Another thing that I admire about him (was) when he was getting approached to go and play in an event overseas,” he said.

“All they players always ask, ‘What’s the purse at that event?’. Tiger never asked what the purse was.

“Whenever he got offers to play at event overseas, the prize money had no bearing on his decision to play or not play in an event that he was invited to overseas.”

As of 2021, Woods has made around $165 million (AUD) in prize money on PGA tour, making him the highest earning player in the history of the game.

However, it’s unclear if or when the 46-year-old will make a return to competitive golf following last year’s serious car crash that badly injured one of his legs.

Woods has appeared at an exhibition event with his son Charlie but has said he will never be a full-time professional golfer again.

He does hold faint hopes of returning to the professional tour but can’t commit to a playing return.

The sporting world has continued to revolt against Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and it could cost them a spot in sport’s biggest tournament.

Poland will not play their 2022 World Cup play-off with Russia in Moscow on March 24 due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine the president of the Polish football federation said on Saturday.

The conflict entered the third day on Saturday since Russian leader Vladimir Putin unleashed a full-scale invasion that has killed dozens of people, forced more than 50,000 to flee Ukraine in just 48 hours and sparked fears of a wider conflict in Europe.

“The time for talking is over. It is time to act. Due to the escalation of the Russian Federation’s aggression in Ukraine, the Polish team does not envisage playing the play-off against Russia,” wrote president of the Polish Football Association Cezary Kulesza, adding it was the “only correct decision”.

He said he would work with the Swedish and Czech federations — the winners of their match would have to play in Russia (on March 29) if the latter beat Poland — to present a unified position to FIFA.

The three federations issued a joint statement on Thursday demanding FIFA move the respective play-offs from Russia.

Polish star Robert Lewandowski had tweeted on Friday that he would consult his teammates about the match and his rejection of war.

“Everything which is beautiful in sports is against what war brings,” he said. “For all people who value freedom and peace this is a time of solidarity with the victims of the military aggression in Ukraine.

“As the Captain of the National Team I will speak with my teammates about the match against Russia, in order to work out a common position on this question and present it to the president of the PZPN (Polish Football Association) as soon as possible.”

European football’s governing body UEFA punished Russia on Friday by stripping Saint Petersburg of hosting European club football’s showpiece event the Champions League final on May 28 and awarded it to Paris.

Manly’s Jason Saab and Tolutau Koula the ‘fastest right side we’ve ever seen’ Is this the fastest centre-wing pairing rugby league has seen? Photo: Fox Sports

Filed under: Outdoors — Tags: — admin @ 10:43 am

Manly fans should get excited for the 2022 season as last season’s preliminary finalists unleashed a freakish young duo set to light up the NRL.

The regular season has not yet started but Manly Sea Eagles fans will already be cheering as one of the fastest backline pairings the NRL has seen showed what they could do against the Canberra Raiders.

It was a tough night for the Sea Eagles, losing 18-16 in the side’s final trial game but more importantly, losing prop Marty Taupau with a back injury, Dylan Walker limped off the field with an ankle problem and Haumole Olakau’atu suffered a suspected elbow injury. Ben Trbojevic played through despite initally staying down clutching his knee. Taupau, Walker and Trbojevic are all expected to play in round one.

Just under two weeks from the first match of the season, the wing-centre pairing of Jason Saab and Tolutau Koula have both shown off their extreme speed in the trial match in Gosford.

Stream every game of every round of the 2022 NRL Telstra Premiership Season Live & Ad-Break Free In Play on Kayo. New to Kayo? Try 14-days free now.

Koula is yet to play NRL but the 19-year-old utility sports the fastest 100m athletics time in GPS history when he ran a 10.58 as a 17-year-old. It’s a time that would have fractionally missed the Australian Track & Field Championships 100m final in 2021.

And with Saab on the wing and one of the NRL’s fastest men already, the Sea Eagles will have a potent backline in 2022.

12 minutes into the clash the Raiders were attacking the Sea Eagles line, when a Jack Wighton pass was caught by Saab, who sprinted away for the try.

Raiders fullback Xavier Savage made chase but only got within 10m after Saab switched off with 25m still to run.

“Saab’s got (Savage) covered and then some,” Andrew Voss screamed on Fox League. “Is he the fastest in the competition? He’ll tell you he is and he shut it down like a dragracer well short of the quarter mile.”

Voss said he spoke to Saab and he said he was confident he could beat any other player.

Corey Parker added: “It must be a nice feeling that nobody, nobody on the field can catch you.”

Code Sports Lachlan McKirdy tweeted: “Throwing an intercept to Jason Saab and watching him run 90m in about second gear is a pretty rough way to start a pre-season game.

Fox Sports’ Cody Kaye added: “Hot damn it’s good seeing Saab pin em. Looks like he’s got like five more gears too”.

But Koula was not about to be outdone, Koula pounced on a long range chance as well, racing 70m to make the Raiders pay for a Wighton fumble.

And hilariously, Saab was running right next to him and was the first player to catch him after he scored the try.

“Lock it in Eddie: the fastest right side we’ve ever seen in rugby league,” Voss said.

Parker said: “We’ve ever seen? That’s a massive call.”

Voss continued: “This is something special Manly fans — and all league fans — that we get to see this young talent. But for Manly fans in particular. If this develops in the maroon and white, you are in for some serious entertainment.”

Chuck in the “fastest man on the planet” in Josh Addo-Carr and the man who beat him in a race to the line last year in Storm recruit Xavier Coates and we got ourselves and 100m sprint.

But while the Manly flyers starred in the first half, the Raiders hit back after going 16-6 down at the half.

Two tries saw the Raiders hit the lead 18-16.

That was when the heavens opened and the rain pelted down.

Super Bowl champ Odell Beckham Jr. reveals new baby’s unique name OBJ and his growing family. Photo: Instagram

Odell Beckham Jr.’s Super Bowl may have been cut short by a brutal knee injury but days after the big game he had another huge moment.

Odell Beckham Jr. has been busy since winning his first Super Bowl ring with the Rams just over a week ago.

The Rams receiver and longtime girlfriend Lauren Wood welcomed their first child together, Zydn, on Thursday, Feb. 17, Beckham announced early Wednesday in an Instagram post.

“2-17-22, 0605. THE biggest blessing I’ve ever had in my life arrived here on earth! The words, I can’t even put together for the overwhelming emotions that ran thru me … a moment I will never forget and cherish forever. Zydn was born n at that moment I knew my life changed for the better,” the new dad wrote.

“Lauren Wood, u changed my life forever and delivered the most beautiful gift of all … EFFORTLESSLY! Ur strength throughout this gives me the courage to keep goin because i now kno with u by my side and holding it down for me, I can get thru anything. I love u so much.”

In the same message, Beckham, 29, also revealed he underwent successful surgery five days after Zydn’s birth for a torn ACL in his left knee, which he suffered during Super Bowl 2022. Although Beckham did not specify his injury in Wednesday’s message, the post-surgery photo nearly parallels the one snapped by his mother, Heather Van Norman, after his November 2020 procedure on the same knee.

“And so the journey continues; 2-22-22; the stars are all aligned; surgery was a success. Like I’ve said all along ‘IT WAS WRITTEN.’ Im just sticking to the script and seeing where God will take me. Honestly I’ve been through so much to get to where im at.. I duggg deep, and figured out a lot about myself along the way. If there’s one thing I can take from all the work and growth, it is that I AM as resilient as they come. Too much heart to not keep walkin in faith! Lol I kno yall probably tired of hearing me say this every year now “this my year”

BUT IM GON BE BACK!!! U better believe imma be back , and imma be back better than ever before. I mean that Shxt from the bottom of my heart. Filled wit LOVE and gratitude. I wanna thank u all for the love and support, this is not the end; but only the beginning to everything I’ve ever dreamed of. LUV,” Beckham wrote.

Beckham caught two passes for 52 yards and a touchdown in the first quarter and change of the game but went down on his third target with a non-contact injury that was reported as a torn ACL.

Wood, who has been linked to Beckham since 2019, called the former first-round pick the “best dad” in the comments.

“I love you 🥲 every step of the way … every joy, every pain … every win every loss, every life changing event & life challenge.. u r not alone & I love the human we made 😍,” she gushed.

The couple went public with their relationship in November 2019, and announced Wood’s pregnancy in November 2021.

In Wednesday’s post, Beckham reflected on his Super Bowl experience and tenure as a Ram, following his release by the Browns last November.

“This last week has been one that I truly could never forget. I had never been more prepared and focused for a game in my life, I was ready to go nuclear and perform at the highest level that I ever had in my career. I knew it and I felt it in my soul, I was in my biggggest bag n nothin was goin to stop me. I reallly mean that!! I was ON,” he wrote.

“Motivated, determined, and eyes set on a goal that I promised to myself and this team from the moment I decided to be an LA Ram. Safe to say those were my plans and not Gods. I kno there’s purpose in all of this and it may seem that this journey has come to an end but it’s really just a door opening to a new beginning. Starting it off, as a WORLD CHAMPION.”

Beckham will be a free agent in March, however, it’s unclear if he will be ready for the start of the 2022 season after undergoing surgery. Further, while there appears to be interest on both sides, the receiver’s NFL future remains to be seen.

Beckham spent five years with the Giants after the team selected him with the 12th overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft. The LSU product was traded to the Browns in March 2019.

‘Absolutely appalling’: Alexander Zverev booted from tennis tournament for violent attack on umpire Alexander Zverev violently lashed out at a chair umpire at the Mexican Open.

Filed under: Outdoors — Tags: — admin @ 10:33 am

One of the world’s best tennis players has been slammed for a blatant act of violence directed at an umpire that left fans shocked.

There are calls for world No. 3 Alexander Zverev to face a lengthy suspension after he lashed out verbally and violently at an umpire during a tennis tournament in Mexico.

The outbursts occurred during the Mexican Open in Acapulco, where Zverev and Marcelo Melo were playing against Lloyd Glasspool and Harri Heliövaara in a doubles match.

With the match level at one set all, it went to a deciding tie-break. Zverev was furious with a contentious line call and completely lost his temper, launching an expletive-laden tirade at the umpire.

He screamed at the umpire: “Look where the ball bounced … 8-6 in the tiebreak … for f***s sake … it’s f***ing your line … f***ing idiot.”

The crowd audibly gasped at that final insult directed at the umpire, who issued Zverev with a code violation.

Glasspool and Heliövaara won the super tie-break to seal the match 6-2 4-6 10-6. Zverev quickly shook their hands at the net before approaching the umpire’s chair.

In a display of blatant intimidation, the German firmly whacked the umpire’s chair several times, only just missing his feet and legs as the umpire visibly flinched to escape harm’s way.

Zverev whacked the side of the chair again as the umpire was climbing down from it.

The ATP, tennis’ governing body, responded quickly, announcing the 24-year-old was kicked out of the tournament effective immediately.

“Due to unsportsmanlike conduct at the conclusion of his doubles match on Tuesday night, Alexander Zverev has been withdrawn from the tournament in Acapulco,” the ATP said in a statement.

Tennis fans were astonished by Zverev’s violence and immediately called for him to be suspended and face a heavy punishment for the violent act.

Tennis journalist Tumaini Carayol tweeted: “Alexander Zverev ended his doubles loss against Glasspool/Heliovaara by attacking the umpire’s chair while arguing with and looking at him after each strike.

“Looks like a blatant act of intimidation and there should be serious repercussions for this behaviour.”

BBC commentator David Law added: “This is absolutely appalling from Alexander Zverev.”

Commentator Jose Morgado said: “This is absolutely unacceptable. Something should be done here …”

The Twitter account of the Tennis Podcast posted: “This, from Alexander Zverev in Acapulco, should have serious repercussions.”

Zverev is all but certain to receive a lengthy ban for the attack on the umpire. Under ATP rules, penalties for major offences include fines of up to $25,000 or the amount of prize money won at the tournament, and/or suspension from ATP events for a maximum of one year.

Tennis pundits pointed out Australian Nick Kyrgios was banned from the tour for 16 weeks and fined $113,000 (USD) for verbally abusing an umpire in 2019.

‘Not right’: Red Bull boss slams ‘harsh’ sacking of Aussie F1 race director Red Bull’s Christian Horner believes Michael Masi didn’t deserve to be sacked.

Filed under: Outdoors — Tags: — admin @ 10:23 am

The sacked Australian F1 race director doesn’t have much support after last year’s controversy, but one team boss is in his corner.

Red Bull boss Christian Horner believes sacked Formula One race director Michael Masi has been treated “harshly”, The Sun reports.

The Australian was stood down in the wake of his mid-race decision at December’s Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, which helped Red Bull’s Max Verstappen pip Mercedes rival Lewis Hamilton to the world title.

Watch every Practice, Qualifying & Race of the 2022 FIA Formula One World Championship™ Live & Ad-Break Free During Racing on Kayo. New to Kayo? Try 14-days free now >

After much speculation, the sport’s governing body, the FIA, concluded Masi had not applied the rules properly in a late safety car period of the race, and have now introduced a new VAR supported structure for next season.

Horner, Red Bull’s team principal, feels Masi has been treated unfairly.

“It’s a difficult one, and it’s the FIA’s business,” he told talkSPORT.

“I think it is harsh, I think he was in a very difficult position last year.

“We felt a lot of the decisions went against us last year.

“When you look at what he has at his disposal in terms of resource, compared to what the teams have, it’s such a massive difference.

“It’s good to hear they are bringing in things like the VAR equivalent and one of the most experienced guys in Herbie Blash.

“I just think there was so much pressure put on the removal of Michael and that’s not right. That’s my personal feeling.

“It’s a bit of a smokescreen as when you look back at the race, Mercedes had two opportunities to pit.”

Despite the chaotic conclusion to the season, Horner thinks Verstappen was a deserving champion for his performances over the whole season.

He added: “You have to look at the season over the 22 races. We had a lot of decisions go against us earlier in the year and penalties that weren’t awarded and so on.

“We got a little bit lucky at the end and sometimes that happens in sport, it’s not over until the whistle goes or the flag falls.”

Michael Jordan steals the show in rare public appearance at NBA All-Star game Michael Jordan stole the show at the NBA All-Star game.

All eyes were on Michael Jordan when the basketball legend made a rare public appearance and shared an embrace with LeBron James

Basketball icon Michael Jordan stole the show at the NBA All-Star game in a rare public appearance that sent fans into meltdown.

Jordan was on hand for the mid-season All-Star game, where he was one of several legends being honoured in the special NBA75 presentation commemorating the 75th season of the NBA.

The 59-year-old, who is now a part owner of the Charlotte Hornets, looked in excellent shape and was in great spirits as he made the rounds at Cleveland’s Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.

There was an incredible moment when Jordan and LeBron James — the two greatest basketballers of all time — embraced on the sidelines and shared a few words.

Speaking after the All-Star game, which was won by Team LeBron, James said he wasn’t going to miss the very rare chance to catch up with his childhood idol and now-rival for GOAT status.

“I did not want to lose the opportunity to shake the man’s hand that inspired me throughout my childhood,” he said.

“I haven’t had much dialogue with him in my 19 years in this business, but a part of me wouldn’t be here without MJ’s inspiration. I always wanted to be like him growing up.

“It’s crazy that the game-winning shot today was a fadeaway. And it was inspired by MJ.

“I didn’t want to waste that opportunity. We’re just not in the same building a lot and we haven’t been in the same building a lot throughout my career. It meant something to me.”

Jordan, who won six NBA championships with the Chicago Bulls in the 1990s, was in a jovial mood as he mingled with former and current stars of the game.

He gave rising star Luka Doncic a friendly bear hug and even engaged in some old fashioned trash talking while waiting backstage for the NBA75 presentation.

Spotting LA Lakers legend Magic Johnson, Jordan half-jokingly challenged the five-time NBA champion to a game of basketball.

“That’s an old dog right there,” he said

“Where ya shoes at? We can go play 1-on-1. Me and you, right now.”

As the players judged the 75 best in NBA history made their way onto the stage, the biggest cheer came when Jordan was introduced to the crowd.

Fans lost their minds at the rare sighting of Jordan, who completely stole the show.

SB Nation’s Brady Klopfer tweeted: “I can’t think of a bigger testament to Michael Jordan’s importance that we’re all freaking out about the fact that he showed up for 10 seconds at an event that most of us are watching on TV.”

Jordan was in element among basketball royalty and shared a nice moment on the stage with former Chicago teammate Dennis Rodman, who opted to wear a hoodie under his NBA75 blazer instead of the crisp turtlenecks many of the other legends were rocking.

But Scottie Pippen, their other teammate who was part of the all-conquering Bulls, was conspicuously absent.

The relationship between Pippen and Jordan appears beyond repair after Pippen slammed his star teammate for how he was portrayed in the documentary The Last Dance.

Aussie golf star Hannah Green becomes first woman to win mixed-gender event 20th of Feb 2022 Pictured: Hannah Green at the mixed-gender TPS Murray River event, Picture: Golf Australia

Filed under: Outdoors — Tags: — admin @ 10:23 am

Aussie golf star Hannah Green has become the first woman to win a full-length professional tournament while competing against men.

Australian golfer Hannah Green has created history by becoming the first woman to win a 72-hole mix-gendered tournament on any of the world’s professional tours.

Green, the 2019 PGA champion, left a host of male rivals in her wake as she claimed the $200,000 TPS Murray River by four shots on Sunday.

The 25-year-old started the final round in a four-way share of the lead with Andrew Evans, Blake Collyer and Matthew Millar and she pulled away from the field with an excellent back nine at Cobram Barooga Golf Club.

A chip-in for eagle on the 10th hole proved the catalyst for Green, who shot a five-under par 66 to finish on 20-under for the tournament, ahead of Evans and Hayden Hopewell who tied for second.

It’s the first time a woman has won a full-length tournament at the professional level. The previous best finish by a woman was Su Oh’s equal third at TPS Victoria last year.

TPS Murray River is part of Australia’s innovative new Players Series, which sees men and women competing in the same field on adjusted tees but otherwise on equal terms, battling it out for one trophy and the same prize pool.

It was Green’s ninth professional win of her career and came hot on the heels of her triumph at the Vic Open last week, which she celebrated by doing a shoey.

The Perth native had originally planned on returning to her home state but WA’s hard border rules prompted her to enter The Player Series Murray River event and give it a red hot crack.

“I feel amazing,” Green said.

“I just feel so grateful that I came, It actually wasn’t my plan to play, I was hoping to go back to Perth.

“Things happen for a reason. So I’m really glad that I made it.

“It was really nice to have a buffer coming down the last (hole) because I was really nervous.”

The world No. 30 said she had wanted to win both tournaments and hoped the dual victories act as a springboard for a successful season on the tour.

“I wanted to win these two events (TPS Murray River and Vic Open) as soon as I said that I entered them and I didn’t think it was a ridiculous goal to try and get my name on these trophies,” Green said.

“Now that that’s done, hopefully I can continue this momentum.

“I want to be in the top 10 in the world. I think I can achieve it if I keep playing the golf I am now and hopefully I can get there.

“So long as I’m enjoying myself while I’m out there, that’s also another goal of mine.

“Hopefully with borders opening up in WA, that can better my chance for a good season.”

‘Wardrobe malfunction’ almost exposes it all Now this bloke is cool under pressure. Photo: Fox League

Filed under: Outdoors — Tags: — admin @ 10:14 am

One of the players fighting for a spot on the Cowboys roster has scored a hilarious try that will already go straight on the blooper reel.

It’s the first week of pre-season trials and already the NRL has a highlight for the blooper reel — and it has nothing to do with the play on the field.

Locked at 12-all against last season’s grand finalists the South Sydney Rabbitohs, the North Queensland Cowboys forced their way over the line.

Andre Niko scored out wide after fullback Tomas Chester spun out of a few tackles before finding Niko on the outside to beat two tackles and score.

However, he didn’t go over untouched as one of the defenders could only grab the back of his shorts, meaning he needed to beat a tackle and dive over to score with his behind hanging out for all to see.

With a decent crowd in at Cairns’ Barlow Park, it left some behind the play laughing as he showed plenty of coolness under pressure to complete the try before fixing his jocks.

“We’ve seen it all there,” Dan Ginnane said on Fox League commentary.

“Unperturbed by the wardrobe malfunction Niko gets over, Cowboys back in front.”

As Greg Alexander tried to describe the try as the cameras showed the reverse angle, he couldn’t help himself but laugh and say: “And that’s everything”.

“Nearly everything,” Ginanne said.

But as they kept showing replays Ginnane said: “Stop”, while Alexander replied: “Shorts down, scores the try”.

“That’s a bike rack if ever I’ve seen one,” Ginnane finished.
