An expert panel of 93 judges has voted Myzone as the Technology Company of the Year at the 2021 APAC Fitness and Wellness Awards of Excellence.
Presented during this week’s FIT Summit in SIngapore, this year’s judging criteria for the Technology Company of the Year Award was based on successful commercial expansion, future scalability, technological advancement, perception as an industry gamechanger, positive return on investment to the customer and the extent of industry collaboration.
Myzone was shortlisted alongside 13 other companies including Technogym, Mindbody, Therabody and Wexer, with the win announced as part of this year’s World Health, Fitness and Wellness Week Summit.
Upon accepting the award, which was sponsored by Life Fitness, Myzone Group Chief Executive, Dave Wright stated “thanks Ross (Campbell, Fit Summit organiser) and all the team at the Health, Fitness and Wellness Summit. We are both honoured and delighted to receive this award.
“Obviously it wouldn’t be possible without the thousands of operators and millions of Myzone movers feeding in great feedback for us to be able to develop. It’s also not just the tech, but it’s down to our rockstar team.”
The ceremony was held as part of the Asia-Pacific region’s largest and most influential online health, fitness and wellness conference, with over 3,000 business owners, managers and investors in attendance learning from over 30 hours of business talks.
Campbell, founder and Chief Executive of FIT Summit, who presented the award, added “this was an incredibly hard award to choose from; especially when technology and digital has accelerated so quickly in the past 12 to 15 months.
“The companies had been shortlisted by our judging faculty for their extraordinary growth and ability to pioneer the marketplace.
“Congratulations to Myzone for a phenomenal achievement over the last 12 months. Dave and his team have produced some phenomenal engagement, some phenomenal new product iterations.
“They’ve really flown the flag for us in terms of being ambassadors and advocates for everything that’s gone through the Marketplace.
“Congratulations to Myzone for everything that they’ve done.”
