Sir Elton John once admitted to having a whopping quarter million pairs of sunglasses. While that’s more than any one person could need, there’s a case to be made for having a few for different occasions. Polarized sunglasses are best for driving while inexpensive shades are a better option for the beach. But a stylish pair of designer sunglasses is the one to rock when you want to look your best, and there’s no better place to get them right now than at Nordstrom Rack.

Nordstrom Rack just went live with thousands of new markdowns, some of the best of which are on designer shades from brands like Ray-Ban, Carrera, and Tom Ford, among others, with styles starting at just $20. All types are on the table—everything from aviators to classic wayfarers and even trendy round frames are on sale, and there’s a style to fit every face shape perfectly. After Men’s Journal looked through the hundreds of designer sunglasses on sale at Nordstrom Rack, we found these four that even the Rocketman himself would want to pick up for spring and summer.

Shoppers Are Ditching Their $170 Ray-Bans for These Bestselling Sunglasses on Amazon That Are Just $25

In its 88 years, Ray-Ban has become one of the most sought-after sunglasses designers with a laundry list of hit styles. They’ve shown up in hundreds of movies and have been seen on thousands of celebs from Bob Dylan to Johnny Knoxville. But Ray-Bans can be costly. Thankfully, there’s an emerging sunglasses brand making shades that look exactly like the $171 Ray-Ban Wayfarer for just $25, and shoppers have taken note.

The unisex Goodr OG Sunglasses were originally designed to be nonslip running shades but have become a beloved daily accessory for those in search of high-quality, affordable options. This style has earned more than 5,000 five-star ratings from shoppers and is currently the No. 5 bestselling style of sunglasses on Amazon. It’s available in classic colors like black monochrome and tortoiseshell, but the brand offers plenty of sportier colors that liven up any outfit.

Goodr’s OG Sunglasses do what sunglasses should—reduce glare with their polarized lenses and block UV rays. But they also have several special features that Ray-Ban’s Wayfarers don’t have, despite the similar silhouette. Goodr’s shades feature a rubbery grip coating that was originally intended to help them stay put through the jostling and sweating that comes from running, hiking, or playing sports—whatever have you. But the grip also helps keep them in place on smaller nose bridges, making them an ideal accessory. Many shoppers have said they’re also lighter than a pair of Ray-Ban Wayfarers.

Shoppers say there’s a lot to love about Goodr’s OG Sunglasses, including their incredible fit, their long-lasting comfort, and their amazing style. Many go as far as saying they’re the “most comfortable” they’ve ever worn. “I’ve worn probably well over two dozen different types/styles/brands of sunglasses over the past several years and these sunglasses are honestly the most comfortable I have ever worn,” a shopper said. “They feel great when I’m wearing them, soft and light, and also they stay on top of my head indoors so well that I forget I have them on…Overall, good value for the money. I’m buying a second pair.”

Many have compared them to their Ray-Ban sunglasses and almost always say they prefer the more affordable Goodr style. “These replaced my Ray-Bans. Great sunglasses. Great for out on the water since they are polarized,” one shopper said. Another shopper who’s a “self-proclaimed sunglasses snob” who normally wears Maui Jim and Ray-Ban said, “These are amazing! A lady on my cruise recommended them. Light, comfortable, stylish, sporty, versatile, quality. You won’t be disappointed.”

If you’re somebody who is constantly losing or ruining their shades, it’s worth checking out the Goodr OG Sunglasses instead. For just $25, you get better color options, a better fit, and peace of mind that more expensive designer styles just can’t offer.
