Hoka rarely discounts its running shoes, so when the Arahi 6 first went on sale a few months ago, the internet stormed the proverbial doors to get a pair for less while they were still in stock—most sizes were gone in a matter of weeks. But the popular Hoka running sneaker just popped back up at Zappos and REI in a handful of colors, giving shoppers one final chance to scoop up the savings.
Right now, the Hoka Arahi 6 is on sale for as low as $98 at Zappos—up to 30% off the original $140 price. Zappos currently has sizes 9 through 13 available in three colorways. REI also restocked the Arahi 6 in two colorways ranging in sizes from 8.5 to 13 and is currently selling it for $113, or roughly 19% off. These running shoes have been a top seller at each retailer, having earned a combined 2,100-plus five-star ratings.

The Hoka Arahi 6 is a breathable and bouncy stability shoe that features a little extra arch support compared to styles like the Bondi or the Mach. It was designed to help prevent feet from rolling inward, or overpronating, and features a thick and well-cushioned midsole that helps absorb the shock of feet pounding the ground. They’re a great shoe to wear for everyday walking or neighborhood runs but provide everything needed for a day at the gym. The Arahi is also a style that’s been approved by the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) as one that promotes good foot health.
Shoppers love the Arahi 6 because of its incredibly lightweight build, its fun colors, and how well it can support a foot. It’s often that shoppers have jaw-dropping moments after their first experience wearing them. “Size and fit were perfect,” a Zappos shopper said in their review. “I’m not used to such a sturdy and supportive shoe, but after I wore it the first day working out—wow! Without a doubt, the best sneaker I’ve ever worn. Great for walking and exercising in the gym. The comfort and support are simply outstanding.”

Even seasoned runners have been wowed by the Arahi 6. “I’ve been running for about 65 years,” an REI shopper began. “Probably have worn 30-40 various running shoes. Some expensive, less expensive. [These] running shoes are the best pair I have ever owned. Fit, responsiveness, and total comfort with many activities. This is the best on the market for any exercise one chooses.”
With the Hoka Arahi 7 now on shelves, this unexpected restock is the last chance to pick up a pair of Arahi 6 running shoes on sale. If you’re a runner, a walker, or somebody who has to stand for long periods and is always on the lookout for a comfortable sneaker, this is one to consider. But don’t wait to get yours, because once sizes run away, they’re gone forever.
